Adding tile to a floor or wall is an excellent way to upgrade a home to increase the visual appeal. A tile backsplash in a shower can really make a bathroom pop. Years ago, I added a tile backsplash in my spare bathroom to give the upper wall a better look as well as protect it from any water ricocheted up high.
Adding Tile
I broke the tiling down into three sections with respect to each wall of the shower, starting with the section that runs the length of the tub. The job was a bit difficult to get the tile adhesive just right to where the tiles would stick as opposed to falling off the wall into the tub. Continuing on, I started in the lower right corner and worked my way up and across in order to cut the least amount of tiles as possible. Furthermore, I allowed the middle section to completely dry for a day or two before I came back and finished the two sides. In regards to cutting the tile, I didn't buy a specifically made tile saw, but instead bought a tile cutting blade and used my radial arm saw to do the task.
